Setup Wizard

Use the setup wizard as the launch checklist for a new guild or a guild that needs a clean configuration pass.

Steps

Pick or install a game pack
Open Setup and start with Game Pack. Install a starter pack where one exists for your game, use a pack the server already has, or start with a blank pack. Builds live in a pack, so nothing else works until this is done.
Confirm a starting build
A gear check scores a member against one build. Curated packs ship with builds, so most servers just confirm the list. Otherwise add one build with a role and a spec, and flesh it out in the Build Editor later.
Map a check channel
Channels maps a Discord channel to a pack, so members can run a gear check there. Confirm GearCheck's Discord permissions and role hierarchy before you test.
Set up the rest when you need it
Also set up holds language, staff access, the audit log, support tickets and the optional modules. None of it is needed for a first gear check, and each section is the same panel Settings shows.
Check Launch, then finish
Launch lists every check on the server and links each fix. Run the sample check to see a real result, then try a real Discord thread with a staff member as the test user. Finish setup when you are happy; Not now stops Overview from sending you back, and Setup keeps your place.
